9th annual competition in the 2011-2012 school year

The next year of the competition has commenced. The Construction Secondary Industrial School and Business Academy has launched the new annual instalment of the “DESIGN A KB-BLOK HOUSE” competition. As like every year, the competition has 2 categories for 3rd and 4th grade students. The competition conditions, dates and rules of participation along with the registration form are available for download below. Along with the ceremonial launch of the competition, the school held a technical workshop led by our Company employees, focused primarily on theoretical and practical aspects on designing KB-BLOK construction systems. The participants were the potential contestants, i.e., 3rd and 4th grade students.

Closing ceremony of 8th year of the competition

Students at the Kadaň Construction Secondary Industrial School and Business Academy have successfully participated in the competition. In total, 7 competing projects were submitted, out of which 3 projects were in the 3rd grade category and 4 projects in the 4th grade category. The competing projects were evaluated primarily in terms of correctness of application of the KB-BLOK product range, the structural design, utilisation of the product range portfolio, and application of an architectural solution. A very high quality of competing projects has been the standard at this school, and is linked to the good tradition supported by the involved teachers’ proactive approach. All the contestants had mastered the methodology of designing with the KB-BLOK system very well. It was therefore possible to award prizes for all the award-winning placings in both competition categories. The awarding ceremony for the winners of the 2010-2011 competition took place in the school assembly hall on 9 September 2011 in the presence of our Company employees and leading representatives of the school. Miss Hana Mlčochová won the first competition category for the 3rd graders; Mr Václav Bažout won the second competition category for the 4th graders. All the winners were given monetary and material gifts. Congratulations to the winners!
