Awarding ceremony

On 11 February 2013, the assembly hall of the Hradec Králové Construction Secondary Industrial School witnessed the award ceremony with the CEO for winners of the “DESIGN A KB-BLOK HOUSE” design competition.

The students František Brynda and Martin Vaníček, who won the first and second places in the competition, attended by the school managers, were given material and monetary gifts by Ing. Martin Konečný, MBA, CEO of KB-BLOK systém, s.r.o., and received public recognition for their extraordinarily good and professional projects to the competition assignment under the leadership of Ing. Marcela Červená.

The high quality of the winning projects raises expectations for no less good results in the future competition rounds.

2nd annual competition in the 2011-2012 school year

The next year of the competition has commenced. The Hradec Králové Construction Secondary Industrial School has launched the new annual instalment of the “DESIGN A KB-BLOK HOUSE” competition. The competition has 2 categories for 3rd and 4th grade students. The competition conditions, dates and rules of participation along with the registration form are available for download below. Along with the ceremonial launch of the competition, the school held a technical workshop led by our Company employees, focused primarily on theoretical and practical aspects on designing KB-BLOK construction systems. The participants were the potential contestants, i.e., 3rd and 4th grade students.

Successful first competition year

A new collaboration between our Company and the Hradec Králové Construction Secondary Industrial School started in the spring of 2010. The first competition year was announced in the 2010-2011 school year and, looking back, it was very successful. Mr František Brynda’s winning project was of exceptional quality and set a very high standard for competition projects. We will therefore launch the next year with expectations of no less good competing projects.
