KB XC system

KB XC building blocks and KB load-bearing lintel

The principal advantages of the KB XC system include excellent acoustic properties, fire resistance, thermal insulation and other properties that significantly exceed the technical requirements for similar masonry systems.

KB XC building blocks are made in various widths and are designed for partitions, infill masonry, outer walls of family houses, garages and garden sheds.
Hollows in the blocks are not designed for filling with concrete; quite contrarily, air in the hollows serves as thermal insulation. One side of the building blocks is solid, facilitating the application of mortar. Only the laying joint is made of mortar, while the side joints are comprised of the mortar-free tongue-and-groove joint.

The load-bearing construction element in this system is the XC load-bearing lintel, made in lengths of 1,000-3,500 mm.

KB STROP XC building blocks and KB XC ceiling joist

KB STROP XC is a simple construction set system designed for building ceiling structures. Its installation is easy not only thanks to the low weight of both inserts and joists, but also the shape of the ceiling inserts that allow easy gripping and handling. All the building blocks have solid bottoms to prevent the laid concrete entering the insert hollow (where the ceiling inserts will touch reinforcing ring beams) and to retain required system properties. Besides the structural function, the system provides acoustic, fire-resistance and thermal properties.
