The kit consists of KB-BLOK concrete blocks with a surface finish and colour as desired by the customer, forged components of the Smokers series (flue, fireplace, grate, ashpan, grill, chimney, door, etc.), fire-clay lining and other accessories.

How did it happen?

We got the idea to build a smokehouse combined with a barbecue grill as we wanted to show that our building blocks are not only designed for fencing, as many will erroneously think.
We were inspired by one of our customers who bought some PlayBlok building blocks and other concrete elements, had some forged components made, bought fire-clay bricks and other accessories, started building boldly and the result was excellent.

If you are asking this same question, we have a solution for you. We have made a smokehouse “construction set”, meaning we supply all the components with a manual, and it is up to you to either build it yourself or hire a construction company.

Where can you see the smokehouse live?

It was first seen by visitors to the Země Živitelka exhibition in České Budějovice and became immensely popular. At present, you can see it, for example, in the Archcentre in our branch office in Prague-Kbely, and the KB-BLOK smokehouse will also be presented in the 22nd episode of the Gondíci s.r.o. TV show, to be aired on TV Prima on 26 September.

How much does it cost and where can you buy it?

The price of the smokehouse depends on the utilised materials. You can choose either the barbecue grill alone, the smokehouse alone, or the 2-in-1 combination, choose building blocks of various surface finishes and colours, etc.
