Options and compositions

KB-BLOK KLASIK composite A, 20-15-15 layering, ventilated

The load-bearing structure is made of building blocks, modular series 200 or 300. Option A uses FASSIL or HARDSIL thermal insulation in a ventilated layer composition.
This composition is the most common due to its easy execution and modular coordination of walls. The thickness of the insulation layer can be designed from 100 to 130 mm, with a thermal resistance range RD = 2.85 to 3.65 m2.K.W-1.
The air gap for ventilation has to be at least 30 mm.
The facing wall is made of modular range 150 building blocks.
When using FASSIL or HARDSIL 120 mm insulation and 30 mm ventilation, the total structural thickness is 500 mm. This detail is important with regards to the wall properties. It can be used in any building that requires economical operation and a quality internal environment.

KB-BLOK KLASIK composite B, 20-15-15 layering, non-ventilated

The load-bearing structure is made of building block modular series 200 or 300.
Option B uses BACHL contact thermal insulation. Thickness of the insulation is made of two superposed layers 80 + 70 mm. The facing wall is made of modular range 150 building blocks. When using BACHL 150 mm insulation, the total structural thickness is 500 mm. This detail is important with regards to the wall properties. It can be used in any building that requires economical operation and a quality internal environment.

KB-BLOK KLASIK composite C, 20-20-15 layering, ventilated

The load-bearing structure is made of building block modular series 200 or 300. Option C uses FASSIL or HARDSIL thermal insulation in a ventilated layer composition. This composition is widespread due to its thermal insulation quality and easy execution with modular coordination of walls.
The thickness of the insulation layer can be designed from 130 to 170 mm, with a thermal resistance range RD = 3.65 to 4.80 m2.K.W-1. The air gap for ventilation has to be at least 30 mm. The facing wall is made of modular range 150 building blocks. When using FASSIL or HARDSIL 170 mm insulation and 30 mm ventilation, the total structural thickness is 550 mm. This detail is important with regards to the wall quality characteristics. It can be used in any building that requires highly economical operation and a high quality internal environment.
